The End of "Remorse"

We're finished with Remorse: The Fourteen Stories of Eric Morse. We had some awesome discussions today about the way that individuals can be shaped by their environment and how environments can sometimes inspire individuals to rise out of a damaging cycle and how the cycle is sometimes easier to repeat than it is to change.

As always, I thank you for your discussions because they allow us to hear and learn about a variety of different view points. Without discussion, we would only have the stories that we hear from those who're outside our classroom. We need to hear one another and, possibly more importantly, be heard. Thanks for sharing. Continue to do so.

Next class, we'll talk more about the Rural Life 101 Project and we'll start reading Monster by Walter Dean Myers. It's a half day, but it'll be a good day. We'll make the most of our time together.
