We spent the entire class period reading. Some of it was silent reading because we had time for SSR, but the rest was used for Monster reading. We made it all the to page 192. Next class we'll have a journal writing day.
The only thing we did besides read/ act today was listen to me present about a few books I've read recently. These are books that will go on the free reading bookcase and they'll be available for you to check out and use for your SSR books.
I will write reviews for each of these books when I have a chance. The titles, just in case you're interested, are: Looking for Alaska, The Hunger Games, The Trap, and the The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Look for them soon under the "Book" tag on the main page of this BLOG!
