Night and Picture Poems

Wow. You guys wrote some amazing poems about the Holocaust. I am so impressed with the level of empathy your poems display, as well as the technical difficulty some of you undertook in your poetic structure.

In addition to completing our poems, we read in Night to page 30. We'll continue reading next class.

Also, the question box has been a great way for us to focus our in-class discussions without the interruption of your important (but often unrelated) questions.

Here are the questions we talked about this class:

What does "pious" mean?

How did Anne Frank die?

Where did the term "Boche" come from?

What was Zyclon B used for other than in as chambers?

Great questions and interesting answers! Keep 'em coming!
