One of my favorite young adult lit authors is John Green. I absolutely love him. I've read three of his books: An Abundance of Katherines, Paper Towns, and Looking For Alaska. Though these books have different themes, the one aspect that they all have in common is their brilliance. They are all smart and the characters are amazing.
Here's a quotation from An Abundance of Katherines:
"Books are the ultimate Dumpees: put them down and they’ll wait for you forever; pay attention to them and they always love you back."
