American author Jane Hamilton has some great advice for us this week. Here is a quotation from this smart woman:

Read, read, read. And read some more. Most of you are setting and breaking your reading goals every quarter. Most of your have improved your lexile scores this year. Most of you have a great attitude about Silent Sustained Reading and get upset (gasp!) when I need to skip it. (Only once on the last half day!) Keep reading, exploring, discovering, and learning.
