In today's reading of The House on Mango Street, Esperanza visits Elenita, a Tarot card reader. Esperanza is not quite satisfied with her reading, but we know that what Elenita says is true. Esperanza may not have the house of her dreams, but she can build a home in her heart.After we read, you all had the opportunity to choose a Tarot card that you feel holds some meaning for you. After choosing your card, you snapped a photo on Photobooth (making sure to cover up your face), and then wrote a Tarot card post on your blog. We'll print these out and use them in your final vignette project.
