Our main topic of discussion today will center around the word 'tame'. What does this mean in your life? How're you used to hearing it? What does it mean in the context of the play?
While we're reading and acting, you're going to keep track of how Petruchio is actively 'taming' Katherine. What methods does he use? What other characters do he use? How do others react to his abuses? Is it effective thus far?
We will read right on to Act four today, barring an interruption or lengthy discussion.
