Quote of the Week

Kurt Vonnegut is probably my most favorite author ever. I can't think of another writer who has managed to make me chuckle, smile, think, question, realize, and just plain KNOW like Vonnegut has. I am utterly impressed with the six or seven novels I've read by this man. The day he died was a profoundly sad day for me, until I realized that he wouldn't want anyone to be upset at his passing. I believe his attitude toward death in general would sound a lot like "So it goes".

So, without further ado, a quotation from one of the most silliest and most seriousest men who's ever lived:

"Who is more to be pitied, a writer bound and gagged by policemen or one living in perfect freedom who has nothing more to say?"

Let's remember this man. He was a good egg.
