To Kill a Mockingbird: Movie/ Book Analysis Essay

We've finally finished the movie version of To Kill a Mockingbird. All that's left now is to use our tracking sheets and our vocabulary words to form an analysis contrasting the theme of the movie with the theme(s) of the text. To do this, we first reviewed our tracking sheets in groups to locate the most important similarities and differences between the movie and text version of this story. We then created a list of these similarities for everyone to use in their writings. We then went over the three-paragraph structure for the essay.

By the time the bell rang today you all had produced a working draft of your essay. We'll finish these drafts next class. Make sure to send your final copies to me via email. **Remember to highlight or bold your five or more vocabulary words so that I see where and how you've used them.
