Today we read from Monster to page 131. We had a lot of interesting discussions along the way, but there was one in particular that caught my attention. I had originally planned to have you all write a found poem today. As we discussed the fact that Steve could possibly spend a minimum of 21 years and 3 months in jail as a result of his alleged involvement in the convenience store robbery.
So, my question to all of you is: How old would you be if you were to go to jail right now for 21 yrs., 3 mos.? What do you think would have changed about the world while you were gone? What would your life be like after you're released from prison?
