Sherman Alexie is no stranger to controversy. There are parents all over the country who are calling for the removal of his young adult novel The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian. In today's class, we're going to read some of the news articles about the upset that this book is causing. On your blogs, you're going to react to one (or more) of these articles.
