Speak: Our Tree Emerges
For a couple of weeks, we've been collecting powerful words from our reading of Laurie Halse Anderson's Speak and creating parts of a tree. Today, we assembled part of our tree on our classroom wall. Though it's not done, I can tell that it is going to look amazing and send a powerful message about the themes and topics covered in this book. We will work to create more bark, branches, leaves, and roots in our upcoming classes. Off to a great start, though!
