As I mentioned last class, we debated and discussed the possibility of moving to a four day school week. You were all pretty passionate about this topic last class, and it seems like you all spent the last two dyas formed some pretty solid arguments against this proposal.
The most impressive part of this discussion for me was not that you all had opinions about the topic, but the way you are learning to debate in a productive, collaborative manner. You are growingnin your ability to listen to one another and to disagree in appropriate, non-threatening ways. Bravo.
We will have to come back to this issue as it progresses in the legislature and as local districts decide to either support or reject this proposal.
