We read today. A lot. This was per your request. We read for so long that my throat was sore and some of you kind, generous folks offered to read in my stead. I appreciate this tremendously. We read to page 92, I believe, and learned a lot about the Games, the Capitol, and have seen a bit of a transformation in Katniss' relationships with Haymitch and Peeta.
So much has changed in Katniss' life in such a short time. It's only been two days since the Reaping, and her whole life is completely different. Obviously, her life will never go back to the way it was, but we'll have to stay tuned as to whether it will ever be good again. We'll pick up where we left off next class.
