It is no secret that I enjoy a good poem now and again. So, while appreciating our first snow day of this school year, I decided that I could not let is pass without acknowledging it formally with a beautiful poem. Here is one of my favorites:
Winter Twilight by Anne Porter
On a clear winter's evening
The crescent moon
And the round squirrels' nest
In the bare oak
Are equal planets.

I hope that you all enjoyed the simple beauty of this snowy day.
See you tomorrow!
