We read quite a bit today. Elie is injured with a hurt foot and concentration camp life is getting worse and worse. Conversely, our weather outside is getting brighter and more spring-like. This is a hard time of year to teach/ learn about the Holocaust, but I firmly believe that it's important for us to do so at some point. We need to learn from this point in history. And, you all are doing an excellent job in discussing this memoir.Here are the words you all collected in today's reading:
